Ok, ok. It’s a smoothie. But, if you make it extra thick it makes you feel like you are eating ice cream.
I have seriously been overdoing it with the chocolate and peanut butter lately, so I opted for a fruity flavor this evening. I have to say that I am very delighted with what I came up with! The best part is that it is made of nothing but fruit, fruit juices and a little bit of nuts – no added sweeteners,sugars, thickeners, or creams of any sort.
- 1 frozen banana
- 2-3 frozen strawberries
- small handful of raw pecans
- splash of organic 100% tart cherry juice (great ant-inflammatory – look it up!)
- splash of 100% pineapple/coconut juice blend
Simple, and deliciously satisfying. Hope that you try it and enjoy!
